ABOUT NO'9

ABOUT NO.9

The perfect Cotswolds B&B

NO.9 is as much a Bed and Breakfast as it is a family home, and we want to ensure all visitors enjoy their stay both here and in the Cotswolds.

If you have any questions about the local area, activities you’d like to do or places you’d like to go, please contact us so we can assist in ensuring you get the most out of your holiday experience.

the HOSTS

The hosts, Jon and Merlyn escaped busy London for an American adventure, residing in New York for six wonderful years before setting their sights on the ultimate dream of moving to the English countryside and setting up an idyllic, boutique Bed and Breakfast retreat.

They’ve been lucky enough to realise this dream in the Cotswolds, which is close to their heart as they got married in Bibury in 2013.

We’ve restored our elegant 18th Century Georgian Coaching Inn to former glory with a warmly sympathetic stamp of contemporary country cool. To its old stone walls and wooden beams. We’ve procured individual pieces of furniture for each room which have been lovingly restored or up-cycled to create a unique feel in each room.

Set in the historic town of Stow-on-the-Wold, no.9 is your serene countryside Bed and Breakfast stay.

BREAKFAST

Expect to start your mornings with our hearty or healthy locally sourced breakfast dishes in the no.9 lounge before strolling up to our beautiful village square.

Alternatively, if you'd like to indulge in a lazy morning, we can bring your breakfast choice to your bedroom door for you to enjoy and surface when you feel just about ready! Let us then help point you in the right direction to explore rolling acres of English countryside and historic quaint roman towns.

Arrival

Check out is 11am and check in is anytime from 3pm.

We will happily accommodate any requests so please don’t hesitate to ask. Just drop us an email or call prior to arrival to let us know roughly what time to expect you so we can arrange a Cotswold welcome and access to no.9 so you can get rambling down our lanes soon as possible!
