Our Breakfast Menu

Flavours of the Cotswolds

We are lucky to be able to call upon some fabulous suppliers for our key ingredients.

Cacklebean Eggs

Our Eggs are from Cackleberry Farm which is nestled at the foot of a hill just outside Stow-on-the-Wold. Run by Paddy and Steph Bourns, their rare breed flocks are entirely free range and live in traditional chicken houses on 12 acres of land, with lots of perches.

The Arlington White has a beautiful golden yolk and this egg is now featured on many wonderful menus, and is used by a number of prominent UK chefs and restaurants including TV's Masterchef programme.

Lambournes Butchers

Our meat products come from Lambournes Butchers of Stow – a local family butcher, serving award winning meat for over 100 years, including the renowned Gloucester Old Spot sausages.

Stow Town Coffee

Stow Town Coffee is the smallest commercial coffee roastery in the UK, located in the beautiful Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold.

We are also an espresso bar, serving fantastic coffee for you to enjoy either for takeaway or to drink in our little coffee lounge upstairs.

We’re not really a café as such so we don’t sell food or cakes, although there’s always a biscuit or two to be found.

Marks Cotswold Bakery

Sourdough is the oldest way of making bread. It uses naturally occurring wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria. It is a live culture called ‘The Mother’ or levain. It is the product of a process that is both artistic and scientific. A combination of passion, patience, dedication and craftsmanship. The unique flavour and texture of Mark’s sourdough is down to the flour he uses, the dough temperature, length of fermentation and how it is handled. It is all a carefully considered balance the bakery is founded upon.

Their award winning Churchill White Loaf took two years to perfect with this gorgeously moist and open crumb. The Mill Loaf is the ultimate healthy loaf. Crafted carefully to create the perfect balance of wholemeal and rye culminating in a light, tangy, sour slice perfect to devour with anything savoury.

V&L Honey Makers

Honeybee Suppliers main business was in the provision of bees. Now with a rapidly growing honey production business called V&L Honeymakers. Having around 1000 colonies for honey production. The apiary sites are dotted around the Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire countryside.
